Chilli Con Carne Lamb Roast
Now who would have thought that the above could even exist, I mean two cuisines fused in one . . . Is that even legal ??? Nonetheless . . . .
I really wanted to take my armature culinary skills up an notch and create something that would blow my husbands mind away. This roast did just that, Chilli Con Carne (For Me) && and very safe moist tender roasted meat (For My Other half) .
Basically what I did :
I through a quick marinade together consisting of paprika, ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper, cumin powder, garam marsala , lemon juice, salt and olive oil. Marinated my lamb cutlet for about 2hrs before transferring it to a roasting pan bedded with some chopped onion and baby potatoes. Top it of with a can of chopped tomatoes , chopped coriander and 2 cans of water and you are good to go. Have this roast in for 3 hrs. in a preheated oven of 180 degrees Celsius && Voila!!!
